Av-DEC's Hi-TAK Tape®Hi-TAK StructureSeal®Hi-TAK®TufSeal®and StretchSeal® are pre-cured polyurethane tape sealants designed to seal and provide a moisture proof barrier between irregular surfaces. The ease of installation and removal of these tape products leads to a reduction in return-to-service time, troubleshooting time, labor costs and amount of time the aircraft is kept in the hanger for maintenance.

When the products are removed from the mating surface there is no residue left behind, eliminating the need for solvents, and scraping, while also avoiding paint adhesion issues. The non-hazardous polyurethane material also leaves no silicone oil residue before, during or after installation or removal.

Hi-TAK StructureSeal®

Hi-TAK StructureSeal® is Av-DEC's newest line of pre-cured polyurethane sealants for corrosion prevention of structural surfaces.  Each roll of Hi-TAK StructureSeal uses Av-DEC's proven sealant technology to prevent corrosion.  For sealing and moisture-proofing irregular surfaces, apply Hi-TAK StructureSeal under compression between two surfaces in applications where crush resistance or a mechanical stop is desired.  Common uses are under floor boards, lavatories, galleys, door sills and on top of stringers.  See the entire line-up of Hi-TAK StructureSeal products here.

TufSeal™ (HT3000)

Av-DEC's® pre-cured polyurethane tape sealant has a fiberglass carrier and PTFE backing for one sided sealing. The tape is specifically designed for repeated use to seal and moisture-proof irregular surfaces where abrasion resistance is required. The system demonstrates excellent adhesion to itself (cohesion) and allows for easy removal when necessary. This product is also available in die cut in gasket form. Common uses are under floor boards, under lavs and galleys, under door sills and on stringers. This product is also available in flame retardant (FR). More Info

HI-TAK® Tape (HT3935-7)

Av-DEC's® pre-cured polyurethane tape sealant has a fiberglass carrier providing two sided sealing. It is designed for sealing and moisture-proofing between irregular surfaces. This product works best when applied under compression between two surfaces. This product is also available in die cut in gasket form and in flame retardant (FR). More Info

STRETCHSEAL®

Av-DEC's® pre-cured polyurethane elastomeric sealant has a foam carrier designed for sealing and moisture-proofing around mated electrical connectors, coaxial connectors, and circumferential and irregular surfaces. This product is very cohesive in nature and provides an environmental seal when stretched/applied around mated connectors. More Info

tufstuff

Av-DEC's two component polyurethane material is designed for use as a weather-tight, self-leveling, rigid sealant. The rigid nature of this system provides potential abrasion resistance where minor traffic is expected (i.e. cargo bay tie down areas). The system demonstrates excellent adhesion to itself after repair or inspection and provides a high degree of environmental protection with maximum sealing. The common uses are in the cargo bay tie down areas and behind chemical toilet areas to cover Self-Leveling Green®.
