Will Bogert

Will Bogert currently serves as the Commercial Programs Manager for Av-DEC. His responsibilities include all aspects of customer and engineering support for all Commercial programs worldwide. In this role he works closely with engineers and management of each of the airlines, regional airlines, business jets, helicopter services, general aviation, repair stations and all the major OEMs.

Mr. Bogert has worked for Av-Dec since 2001. He previously worked for Dixie Aerospace as the Business Development Manager.  Dixie was a distributor for Av-DEC so he has had practical knowledge of the Av-DEC products since just after the company’s inception.  Mr. Bogert has worked in the Aerospace Community since 1994 where he worked for Aviall as a National Account Manager. He is a graduate of The University of North Texas in Denton, TX where he earned a BBA degree in Marketing Management.

Dave Schmidt

Dave Schmidt currently serves as the Military Programs Manager for Av-DEC. His responsibilities include all aspects of customer and engineering support for all Military programs. In this role he works closely with engineers and management of each of the services and all the major OEMs.

Mr. Schmidt retired from the U.S. Coast Guard after 22 years of service.  He last served as the Corrosion Control Program Manager for the aviation fleet where he worked closely with all the military corrosion program offices and members of the JCAG (Joint Corrosion Action Group).  With this team he worked on a wide variety of corrosion prevention projects.

Don Davis

Don Davis has been with Av-dec since 2003 and is the Air Force Program Manager.  His responsibilities include gaining approvals for the Air Force fleet and T.O implementation, both foreign and domestic.

Brendan Ryan

Brendan has been working in the Aerospace industry for 12 years and has been with Av-DEC since 2008.  Currently he serves as the Commercial Airline Regional Program Manager.  Mr. Ryan has experience both domestically and internationally with OEM’s as well as commercial and military accounts.  With these accounts he does work for major aviation based manufacturers of Avionics Systems and mechanical products.  As an Av-DEC employee, Brendan covers a variety of airline accounts both major and minor in the commercial market in addition to commercial OEM work as the primary contact for all levels and phases of account management.   In addition to other work, Brendan also served in the US Army for 5 years as a Training NCO, an M1A1 Armored crewman gunner, and loader and driver.   He is a graduate of Baylor University in Waco, Texas with a BBA in marketing and currently resides in Texas.

Becky Kern

Becky Kern began her career in the aviation industry 16 years ago.  In 1994 she began selling PMA Aircraft Engine Parts and Chemicals for AAR Corporation.  In 2001 Ms. Kern began selling Av-DEC corrosion preventative products while employed by Arger Enterprises.  In April of 2004 she began selling directly for Av-DEC and has been with the company ever since.  Her tasks as a member of the Commercial Sales Team include selling to Airlines, Regional Airlines, Business Jets and OEM’s all over the country.  Born and raised in California, Ms. Kern currently resides in Ohio.

Andy Baker

Andy Baker has been with Av-DEC since 2004 and currently serves as part of the commercial sales team. His responsibilities include engineering and fleet support for all currently approved aircraft as well as developing new applications and aircraft approvals.

Prior to working for Av-DEC, Mr. Baker worked for Dixie Aerospace as both an Inside and Outside Sales Representative for 8 years where he gained his initial knowledge of Av-DEC’s product line.

Mr. Baker is a graduate of the University of West Georgia where he received his BBA in Marketing.  During his time there, he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Social Fraternity as well as serving 1 year as the President of Phi Chi Theta Business Fraternity.

Vic Cason

Vic Cason is a 26 year veteran of the aviation industry holding positions with FAR 145 repair stations, manufacturers, after market suppliers and MRO’s.  During that time Vic has developed long term relationships and business opportunities with passenger airlines, cargo operators, military contractors, corporate flight departments, heavy maintenance providers and OEM’s.

His experience includes airframe and power plant products and services for fixed and rotor wing aircraft.

Rick Freeman

Rick Freeman joined the Av-DEC team in 2012 and currently serves as the U. S. Navy/Marine Corps Aviation Program Manager. His responsibilities include engineering and fleet support for all currently approved aircraft as well as the development of new applications and aircraft approvals within the naval services. Mr. Freeman is also responsible for supporting and developing approvals within the Canadian Forces fleet of aircraft.

Mr. Freeman retired from the U.S. Coast Guard after 30 years of service. He served as an aircraft mechanic and helicopter air crewman throughout the span of his career, most recently serving as the Command Master Chief of a North Florida based Coast Guard aviation unit. Mr. Freeman is a graduate of the Excelsior College where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Liberal Studies. He also holds an FAA Airframe & Power Plant License.
