Curing Ox-Block COB-01 is Av-DEC's newest corrosion inhibiting compound designed to provide long term protection while curing to a durable environmental barrier. This general-purpose aerospace sealant combines corrosion resistance with a hardening formulation that seals out moisture and contaminants in demanding operating environments.
Curing Ox-Block features passivated sacrificial particles that oxidize preferentially before the aircraft structure, along with a synergistic inhibitor system that helps prevent corrosion. The material is non-chromate, solvent-free, and non-shrinking, making it suitable for use in areas where corrosion protection and removability are both important.
Designed for cracks, gaps, seams, pinholes, and mating surfaces, Curing Ox-Block is easy to apply and cures in hours, allowing maintenance teams to return aircraft to service efficiently. It is commonly used on exterior hardware and areas exposed to moisture, salt, and harsh environmental conditions.

ThixoShield TW1102 is a two-component polyurethane material developed to protect aircraft leading edge components from erosion. It forms a durable UV resistant barrier that adheres well to painted and primed surfaces while maintaining color stability under prolonged UV exposure.
ThixoShield is designed with a controlled viscosity that allows brush application on vertical and horizontal surfaces while producing a smooth uniform finish. Its self-leveling behavior makes it well suited for complex or rounded geometries where traditional erosion tapes cannot be applied.
Developed to address real world erosion challenges, ThixoShield is used as a fast-curing leading-edge coating or faying surface sealant. Typical applications include landing gear doors, antennas, fairings, drain masts, and other aircraft surfaces exposed to high erosion environments.
