Pre-Cured Polyurethane Conductive Connector Gaskets for Electrical and Pass-Through Sealing

Av-DEC HI-TAK polyurethane conductive connector gaskets are specifically designed to seal electrical connectors and mechanical pass-through interfaces in aircraft structures. These pre-cured gasket systems provide reliable environmental sealing at connector interfaces while eliminating the cure time and variability associated with traditional sealants.

HI-TAK connector gaskets are polyurethane-based and incorporate an aluminum mesh carrier to provide a low-resistance electrical bonding path where grounding is required. Die-cut construction ensures consistent fit and full surface contact around connector flanges, helping prevent moisture intrusion and corrosion at critical electrical interfaces. These gaskets are used during installation, repair, and routine maintenance across commercial, military, and corporate aircraft.

Connector gaskets are commonly used in lieu of sealant to reduce installation time and simplify future maintenance. These gasket systems are designed to:

  • Seal electrical and avionics connectors against moisture and environmental exposure
  • Provide corrosion protection at connector flanges and penetration points

HI-TAK connector gaskets are supplied pre-cured to support fast installation and immediate return to service. The Apply and Fly TM design eliminates cure time, mixing, and post-installation cleanup. During inspections or repairs, connector gaskets can be removed cleanly with minimal residue, simplifying maintenance procedures.
